Pokémon is now on Netflix! Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service will end in May for Nintendo DS, DSi and Wii systems. AZ’s Floette and Diancie Mystery Gift have been unlocked by hacking.
Pokémon on Netflix
Pokémon is finally on Netflix! Starting March 1, 2014, Pokémon will be available for Netflix subscribers. Two seasons will be available to watch – Pokémon: Indigo League (season 1) and Pokémon: Black and White (season 14). The two Victini movies are also available – Pokémon: Black: Victini and Reshiram and Pokémon: White: Victini and Zekrom.
This is amazing news to finally hear that we can watch Pokémon on Netflix! Last month, I talked about how Pokémon would be streaming on Hulu. I’m happy that I can finally watch Pokémon on Netflix since I no longer have cable, nor do I subscribe to Hulu Plus (yet). There are a few differences between what’s available between Netflix and Hulu. Currently, Hulu is the only place we can watch up-to-date episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY, Pokémon Origins, Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl (season 10) and The Rise of Darkrai movie.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Ending
On May 20, 2014, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service will no longer be available for older Nintendo systems like the Nintendo DS, DS and Wii. Unfortunately, this will affect older Pokémon game online features such as the Global Trade Station, Wi-Fi battles, Wi-Fi trades, Mystery Gift downloads and other features.
The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U consoles will not be affected, but all old DS and old Wii games will be affected, even if they are used in an unaffected console. This will not affect transfers between the older generations using Poké Transfer, and will not affect the use of Poké Transporter.
Here is a list of the Pokémon Games that will be affected:
- Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
- Pokémon Platinum
- Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver
- Pokémon Black and White
- Pokémon Black 2 and White 2
- Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
- Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
- Pokémon Battle Revolution
- My Pokémon Ranch
Please note that all other Nintendo Wii, DS and DSi games that use Wi-Fi connections will also be affected.
Pokémon of the Episode: #12 Butterfree
Butterfree is the Butterfly Pokémon. It can have the Abilities Compoundeyes or the Hidden Ability Tinted Lens. It stands at 3’07” (1.1m) tall and weighs 70.5 pounds (32kg). Butterfree is Bug- and Flying-type.
Caterpie evolves into Metapod at level 7 and then evolves into Butterfree at level 10.
