Kanto Legendary Pokémon – FSPR86

Kanto Legendaries - Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres

Kanto Legendaries

Kanto has a total of five legendary Pokémon, the first Pokémon duo and first Pokémon trio. On your journey through the Kanto region Pokémon games, the legendary trio of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres can all be encountered before visiting the Indigo Plateau. There is not much story behind the legendary birds, but they are fun to capture and say that you own.

Kanto Legendaries - Mew and MewtwoThe legendary duo of Mew and Mewtwo are much more difficult to acquire than the birds. In the Kanto region, Mewtwo is obtainable after defeating the Elite Four and traversing the Cerulean Cave. It is extremely strong and difficult to catch. It is common practice among trainers to save the Master Ball you get from the president of Silph Co. for Mewtwo.  Mew is downright unobtainable in the games and is usually only available from special real-world events and giveaways to either download it or trade for it.

Mew and Mewtwo are the only Kanto legendaries that have a special story that is not focused on in the Kanto region games. Mew, according to a journal entry found in the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, was recently discovered and cloned. This clone was named Mewtwo and was too powerful for the scientist to control. The story doesn’t go on from there, but it gives a good reason to why the Pokémon Mansion is abandoned and burned down, and why Mewtwo resides in the Cerulean Cave.

New Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Mega Evolutions?

Could this possibly be a legitimate poster of the new line up of Mega Evolutions for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? Of course, these would be a great choice due to the popularity of some of the Pokémon. So far, we don’t know if this is a hoax or not. I’m not going to jump the gun yet like I did last year with the Mega Mewtwo Y poster that was leaked. What do you think about this new Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire poster?
