Super Secret Bases
Secret Bases from Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald have now become Super Secret Bases! In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, we will be able to not only decorate our bases, but do so much more. We can now play capture the flag, create our own battle rules for a make-shift gym and become “Secret Pals” with other Trainers.
You can even share your Secret Base via QR code and Street Pass. Once these games come out, I’m going to be sharing my Secret Base with listeners of Pokedex Radio!
Mega Metagross and Pikachu Costumes
This official video shows a little bit more of the Super Secret bases, but more importantly, it shows Mega Metagross. It’s been long awaited, but I’m sure a lot of us wanted this. Mega Metagross’ stats all get a boost, with a significant increase to its Speed stat, and the rest become more balanced, as well. It has also been revealed that its Ability will be Tough Claws.
This video also shows Pikachu Costumes. I’m sure these have something to do with Pokémon Contests, but they also show Pikachu dressed up while in Pokémon-Amie. We will find out more about these Pikachu soon, I’m sure.
Pokémon of the Episode: #631 Heatmor
Heatmor is the Anteater Pokémon. It can have the Abilities Gluttony, Flash Fire, or the Hidden Ability White Smoke. It stands at 4’07” (1.4m) tall and weighs 127.9 pounds (58kg). Heatmor is Fire-type.
Heatmor does not evolve from or into anything. It is known for eating the Pokémon Durant, which fits perfectly with their type match-ups and the animals they are based off of.
